Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Waltham, MA, and requires onsite presence. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 29th, 2026, with a weekly commitment of 24 hours spread over Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across a caseload that includes a Dual Language School and another nearby elementary school located approximately a quarter mile apart.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports consistent with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy licensure.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Comfort and willingness to work at a Dual Language School; candidates are encouraged to review the schools mission and vision to ensure a good fit.
